Despite the drop in earnings expectations, the game's official trailer was released in December, confirming a 2025 release date for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S and revealing that it will partly take place in Vice City with a female protagonist, while Take-Two also announced that Grand Theft Auto 5 has shipped over 195 million units since its 2013 release.
