The Nintendo Switch remake of Super Mario RPG retains a bug from the original 1996 SNES version, where players can exploit a boss battle with Exor by depleting its eyes' health and using Geno's "Geno Whirl" attack with perfect timing to deal 9,999 damage, effectively defeating the boss in one blow. Speedrunners have been using this exploit for years, and it has now been officially included in the remake. However, players can still choose to defeat Exor the regular way if they prefer.
