In the upcoming game Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Goombas will finally be shown biting Mario and other characters when they get close, revealing the reason behind the damage taken in the original game. Due to hardware limitations at the time, this detail couldn't be shown, but now the developers have included a small animation to depict the biting action. The game, which offers behind-the-scenes insights into its development, will be released on October 20 for the Nintendo Switch.
