"Suikoden Franchise Creator Yoshitaka Murayama Passes Away"

Yoshitaka Murayama, creator of the Suikoden series and scenario writer for Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, has passed away due to complications from an ongoing illness. His studio, Rabbit & Bear Studios, shared the news and expressed their commitment to carrying on his legacy by releasing Eiyuden Chronicle. The game, a spiritual successor to Suikoden, had a successful Kickstarter campaign and is set for release in April. Konami is also planning to release HD remasters of the first two Suikoden games.
