Stardew Valley creator Eric Barone, also known as ConcernedApe, teased the long-requested iridium scythe update in a tweet. The scythe is the only tool in the game that can't be upgraded to iridium, leaving players with incomplete toolbars. The update is expected to be included in Stardew Valley's upcoming 1.6 update, which will also feature some new content and support for modders. Barone is taking a break from developing his next game to focus on developing Stardew's next update.
