Square Enix may be working on a remaster of Star Ocean: The Second Story, as a logo for the unannounced game appeared on a support page. While the company hasn't confirmed anything, there is precedent for remasters in the RPG franchise. The Second Story R might imply this unannounced game is based on the original PlayStation title and not the PSP remake with the subtitle Second Evolution. The last mainline entry in the RPG franchise came out last year with Star Ocean: The Divine Force.
