Square Enix Staff Push for Final Fantasy VI Remake, Confirms Kitase.

Square Enix vice president Yoshinori Kitase and franchise veteran Hironobu Sakaguchi discussed the possibility of a Final Fantasy VI remake during a Final Fantasy 35th-anniversary broadcast. While there is interest from Square Enix staff, Kitase stated that it would be complicated at the moment as they are still working on the Final Fantasy VII Remake project. The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series has sold over two million units worldwide across various platforms.
