Slay the Spire 2 beta patch reverses major nerfs, easing Silent and Necrobinder strains

Slay the Spire 2 developers rolled back several nerfs from last week's balancing update in a Steam beta patch to curb infinite-combo strategies, leaving some changes in place. Silent gets to keep the Prepared card’s draw/discard utility, Serpent Form deal increased damage, and Necrobinder sees no nerfs to Capture Spirit or Borrowed Time for now. The patch also buffs Ironclad’s exhaust-focused tactics and improves Regent, while Doormaker reportedly becomes more predictable and Skulking Colony is nerfed. Elites are re-timed to spawn later, and the Gloom Ascension modifier no longer affects surprise rooms. Lead designer commentary on design intents and an expanded feedback tool accompany the patch notes, with ongoing plans to rework some cards like Borrowed Time in the future.
