Final Fantasy Tactics series creator Yasumi Matsuno has confirmed that there are "no plans" for a remaster of the beloved tactical RPG. Matsuno, who led the team behind the original game, responded to a fan's request for a remaster by stating that fans should convey their requests to Square Enix. Final Fantasy Tactics, considered one of gaming's foundational tactics RPGs, has had limited availability on modern consoles, with a remaster released for PlayStation Portable in 2007 and an iOS version in 2011. Despite hopes for a remaster, it appears that fans may have to wait longer for any official announcement.
