Riot Games is transitioning from Summoner Names to Riot IDs in League of Legends, offering players one free name change starting November 20. Additional name changes can be purchased for the equivalent of US$10 in in-game currency. To change your Summoner Name to a Riot ID, log in to your account using the Riot client, click on the profile icon, go to "Account Details," edit your Riot ID, and save the changes.
