Restoring Halo's Cut Content and Reviving its Roots

343 Industries is collaborating with modders to restore cut content from the original release of Halo Combat Evolved. The mod team Digsite has been working with 343 to bring back multiplayer maps, including those developed for the PC port of the game. Additionally, the long-lost Macworld demo from 1999 will be added to Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Content from the earliest conception of Halo as an RTS, such as vehicles and enemy types, is also being restored. This collaboration marks a significant moment in preserving the legacy of the Halo franchise.
