Resident Evil Requiem climbs US February charts with 60% launch lead over Village

Resident Evil Requiem was the top-selling US game in February 2026, leading Circana’s charts across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC storefronts and selling 60% more in its launch week than Resident Evil Village. Unit sales rose over 40% excluding bundles, and a Switch 2 bundle including RE7/Village/Requiem debuted at No. 20. Several new titles joined the February top 20, while mobile titles like Monopoly Go and Pokémon Go gained ground. The overall US video game market reached about $4.6 billion in February, with hardware up 22% year-on-year to £326 million; Switch 2 hardware sales offset declines for PS5 and Xbox Series, and nine months in, its install base is 45% higher than the original Switch.
