Remedy Confirms Control 2 as Action-RPG with 2025 Update

Remedy has confirmed that Control 2, the sequel to its surreal action-adventure game, will be an action-RPG. This announcement was made during a Capital Markets day presentation and reiterated in a social media post. Additionally, Control Ultimate Edition is set to release on Mac in February, and a free update for Control will be available early next year. Meanwhile, Alan Wake 2 has sold over 1.8 million units, nearing its development and marketing cost recovery. Remedy is also working on a Control spin-off, FBC: Firebreak, a three-player co-op multiplayer game set to release in 2025.
