Playable Zelda: A Possibility for the Future, According to TOTK Devs and Nintendo

The producers of The Legend of Zelda series, Eiji Aonuma and Hidemaro Fujibayashi, hinted in an interview with IGN that Zelda may become a playable character in the future. While they didn't provide a definitive answer, Aonuma expressed that there is always room to explore Zelda's role in the series and that there may be a possibility for her to be playable someday. Despite not being playable yet, Zelda's presence in Tears of the Kingdom has been more significant than in previous games, and the franchise continues to enjoy success with the recent release of Tears of the Kingdom.
