Persona 3: Reload has removed a transphobic line of dialogue from the original game, altering a scene where characters exhibit trans panic at the beach. The new version changes the dialogue to have the characters run away from a conspiracy theorist trying to sell them sunscreen, removing the transphobic aspect. This change follows previous alterations made by Atlus in response to offensive content in the Persona series, and has been positively received.
