Singularity 6 has announced the launch of Palia on the Nintendo Switch, along with the upcoming in-game event called Luna New Year. This limited-time event will feature a hot pot celebration and a competitive card game, taking place around the start of 2024. The event will incorporate a new currency for players to exchange for items and recipes, and it aims to be more approachable to newcomers by removing the requirement of gold for purchasing event items. The Nintendo Switch version of Palia offers crossplay and cross-progression, and players who connect their accounts will receive three in-game items. Palia is currently in open beta with no full release date announced.
