Overwatch 2 Game Director Aaron Keller has announced a rework for Wrecking Ball and significant buffs for tank heroes in Season 10, including a revamped Hammond with adjustments to his Adaptive Shields and Grappling Hook. The changes aim to make diving with Wrecking Ball more effective and give him more capability to protect allies and initiate engagements. Additionally, other tank heroes like Reinhardt and Junker Queen are also receiving upgrades to their abilities. Season 10 is set to begin on April 16, coinciding with the introduction of the game's newest DPS hero, Venture.
