Blizzard has unveiled the details of Overwatch 2's Competitive 3.0 rework for Season 9, featuring a new rank called Champion above Grandmaster, the return of placement matches, and increased transparency in post-match rank calculations. Players will have the opportunity to earn Jade Weapons with new Competitive Points, and old points will be converted into Legacy Competitive Points. These changes will take effect when Season 9 begins on February 13.
