"Overwatch 2 Implements Effective Measures to Combat Disruptive Players and Leavers"

In the Season 7 update of Overwatch 2, Blizzard has implemented a major change to address the issue of disruptive players who leave games prematurely. Previously, leavers faced an XP penalty, but now they will receive suspensions for leaving too often. Players who leave four out of their last twenty games will be suspended from queuing for any game mode that grants progression progress, starting with a 10-minute suspension and increasing to 30 minutes for repeat offenders. The aim is to discourage deliberate disruption of the gaming experience for others.
