Original Director of Super Mario RPG "Very Pleased" with Remake Despite Not Being Involved

Chihiro Fujioka, co-director of the original Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, expressed his delight about the upcoming remake of the game for Nintendo Switch, despite not being involved in its development. Fujioka stated that he is looking forward to playing the remake and thanked fans for their support. The original composer, Yoko Shimomura, confirmed her return to handle the music for the remake, which features new graphics and follows Mario's quest to recover seven stars and repair the Star Road.
