Nintendo 'Villain' Gary Bowser Released from Prison and Ready to Strike Again

Gary Bowser, a prominent figure in the aftermarket console modding scene, is set to be released from prison after serving over a year of his 40-month sentence for selling and creating console chips. Bowser, who was indicted for jailbreaking and selling major game consoles to play pirated versions of popular games, will continue to be hounded by Nintendo for nearly $10 million in court-ordered restitution. Once he returns to Canada, Bowser plans to file for medical coverage and welfare while he looks for work that takes in his "expertise."
