Nintendo Switch Overtakes Xbox 360 as 3rd Best-Selling Console in US History

The Nintendo Switch has surpassed the lifetime US unit sales of the Xbox 360, making it the third best-selling system since NPD began tracking data. It now trails only behind Nintendo's DS and Sony's PlayStation 2. This achievement follows Nintendo's Q2 FY2024 financial report, which revealed that sales in the first half of the current fiscal year were the largest since the launch of the Switch. As of September 2023, the Switch has sold over 132 million units worldwide, surpassing the lifetime sales of the Wii.
