The Nintendo Switch was the top-selling console worldwide in May 2023, with over 1.5 million units sold, bringing its lifetime sales to 126.5 million. The PlayStation 5 sold over 1 million units, reaching a lifetime total of 38.45 million. The Xbox Series X|S sold 329,569 units, totaling 22.01 million. The PlayStation 4 sold 11,548 units, reaching 117.05 million lifetime sales. Year-to-date, the PS5 sold 7.44 million units, the Switch sold 5.88 million, and the Xbox Series X|S sold 2.23 million.
