Nintendo Extends Free Joy-Con Repairs Across Europe

Nintendo is now offering free repairs for faulty Joy-Cons in the UK, Switzerland, and the European Economic Area (EEA), regardless of warranty status, due to the stick drift issue. However, repairs may be refused if caused by third-party accessories, accidental damage, or unauthorized modifications. Nintendo has faced numerous lawsuits and government scrutiny over the issue, and a design flaw has been identified as the cause. Some third-party companies have developed their own drift-immune Joy-Con designs.
