Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound Announced as First 2D Game in 29 Years, Launching Summer 2025

Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, a new side-scrolling action adventure game, has been announced for multiple platforms including PS5, Xbox Series, and PC, with a release set for summer 2025. Developed by The Game Kitchen and published by Dotemu in collaboration with Koei Tecmo and Team NINJA, the game combines classic Ninja Gaiden lore with modern gameplay elements. Players will experience a new chapter in the Ninja Gaiden saga with Kenji Mozu as the protagonist, featuring a blend of old-school mechanics and modern pixel art.
