Nike and EA Sports team up to integrate NFT sneakers into video games.

Nike's virtual assets from its Web3 marketplace platform, .Swoosh, will be integrated into future EA Sports titles, including virtual footwear and apparel. The partnership fulfills Nike's promise to equip its virtual apparel in video games and "other immersive experiences." The NFT market has been in decline, but .Swoosh's recent NFT drop of virtual sneakers surpassed $1 million in sales. Nike will release more details on how .Swoosh NFTs will integrate into EA Sports titles in the coming months. EA CEO Andrew Wilson has said that NFTs could be a part of the industry's future.
