Petroglyph Games, formed by ex-Westwood programmers, has released a new real-time strategy game, 9-Bit Armies: A Bit Too Far, on Steam in early access. The game, a follow-up to 8-Bit Armies, features a voxel design reminiscent of classic Command and Conquer, with two factions, large maps, and tactical combat. It offers single-player and co-op campaigns, daily challenges, and online skirmishes for up to eight players. With a focus on accessibility for new players and mod support, the game is currently on sale and plans to add more features during early access.
