"MTG's March of the Machine Expansion Unveils New Cards, Mechanics, and Commanders"

IGN has revealed six new cards from Magic: The Gathering's upcoming set, March of the Machine, including a new permanent type called "battle cards" and a two-card combo that can instantly kill your opponent. Set Design Lead Dave Humpherys discusses the designs behind each card and the new battle card type. The set also includes a card cycle that partners previously individual legendary characters from a given plane onto a single card and the first Phyrexian "lord" creature. March of the Machine releases early next month.
