"Mortal Kombat 1 Story DLC: Prepare for an Epic Surprise!"

Ed Boon, the development chief of Mortal Kombat 1, has confirmed plans for a story DLC and teased a "big surprise" to follow. The DLC is expected to continue the game's story, similar to the Aftermath expansion for Mortal Kombat 11. Boon also mentioned that NetherRealm intends to support Mortal Kombat 1 for a longer period than its predecessor. Recent announcements include the release date and gameplay for DLC character Quan Chi, as well as the inclusion of Peacemaker from Mortal Kombat 1's Kombat Pack. Hidden Brutalities and a seasonal Fatality Bundle have also been discovered in the game.
