Mario & Luigi: Brothership - A Comedic Adventure on Switch

Mario & Luigi: Brothership for Nintendo Switch, developed by Acquire, is a new RPG entry in the series, following the closure of Alphadream. While it retains the series' signature turn-based combat with rhythm-action elements, the game falls short due to repetitive writing and a lack of exploration freedom. The vibrant world of Concordia lacks distinct identity, and technical issues with Unreal Engine 4 on Switch detract from the experience. Despite its shortcomings, the game offers engaging combat and creative enemy designs, but it doesn't reach the heights of its predecessors.
