Niantic has announced the Lustrous Odyssey event for Pokemon Go, set to run from January 6 to January 10, 2024, featuring the debut of Dusk Form Lycanroc. The event includes special wild encounters, raids, egg hatches, and field research tasks with the chance to catch shiny versions of certain Pokemon. Bonuses such as increased Buddy Pokemon gifts and extended map presence for Buddy Pokemon after feeding are also part of the event. Additionally, the second part of the Seasonal Special Research story will be available for trainers during the event.
