Jusant is a PS5 game set in a post-apocalyptic world where a catastrophic recession of the planet's water supply has left the environment dry and uninhabitable. Players take on the role of an unnamed character who must ascend a tall tower of rock, accompanied by a small creature called a Ballast. The game relies on environmental storytelling and journal entries to convey its narrative, while the main gameplay mechanic revolves around rock climbing. Despite some minor flaws, Jusant offers a satisfying and engaging experience with its tactile traversal system and well-realized locations.
