John Wick's Almost Appearance in Mortal Kombat 1

NetherRealm Studios attempted to include John Wick as a character in Mortal Kombat 1, but it didn't work out due to licensing rights and fees. Keanu Reeves, the actor who portrays John Wick, stated that he believes the character doesn't belong in Mortal Kombat. NetherRealm's Ed Boon also mentioned the idea of having established actors play the characters in the game, but it remained a "pipe dream." John Wick did make an appearance in Fortnite in 2019, and Lionsgate, the owner of the John Wick series, has plans for its own video game adaptation.
