Jean-Claude Van Damme Joins Mortal Kombat 1 Tournament

Actor Jean-Claude Van Damme will finally make an appearance in Mortal Kombat 1 as Johnny Cage, thanks to a character skin. Van Damme was originally supposed to play Johnny Cage in the game's early development stages but passed on the opportunity. The character was later played by martial artist Daniel Pesina in the first two Mortal Kombat games. Van Damme's Cage skin will be included in the game's Kombat Pack add-on, which is part of the Premium and Kollector's Editions of Mortal Kombat 1. The game is set to launch in September.
