iRacing Secures NASCAR Gaming Rights, Plans Console Games from 2025

iRacing has acquired the NASCAR gaming rights from Motorsport Games and will release an official NASCAR console game in 2025. The deal includes the development of a simulation-style game for various platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. iRacing, already an official simulation partner of NASCAR, plans to work closely with NASCAR industry stakeholders to deliver an exceptional gaming experience for fans worldwide. Motorsport Games will continue to support and sell NASCAR Heat 5 and NASCAR Rivals until 2024 before focusing on other intellectual properties. The deal is worth $6 million and includes the rights to develop a mobile game.
