IGN First: Final Fantasy 16's New Game Plus Introduces Fresh Challenges

Final Fantasy 16's New Game Plus mode offers returning players a new challenge with Final Fantasy Mode, where enemies become stronger and change in type and positioning. Players can upgrade weapons up to six degrees and synthesize accessories for a new layer of customization. Arcade Mode offers a leaderboard for players to compete for the highest score. Chronolith battles, a battle mini-game, also come with a leaderboard in New Game Plus. The mode is highly replayable, with a wide array of abilities and the ability to skip the first part of the game.
