Supergiant Games is gearing up to release Hades 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the popular roguelike game. The game features a new protagonist, Melinoë, who is on a mission to take down the titan of time, Chronos, in the Underworld. The gameplay remains similar to the original Hades, with new mechanics such as Magick and two new weapons, the Witch’s Staff and the Sister Blades. The livestream also revealed the return of familiar characters like Poseidon and Aphrodite, as well as new gods like Apollo and Hestia. Players will have the opportunity to participate in a technical test before the game enters Early Access.
