Gale of Darkness Lands on Switch Online for Switch 2 in March

Nintendo announced Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness as the next GameCube title joining Nintendo Switch Online, with a March 2026 release planned for Switch 2 (Expansion Pack required). The rollout continues the service’s GameCube library, which already includes Luigi’s Mansion, Chibi-Robo, and others, and has driven up physical prices for the cult-favorite title. Nintendo has not set a precise date yet, but a specific date should be revealed soon. After Gale of Darkness, only Super Mario Sunshine and Pokemon Colosseum remain to join the catalog, which is expected by early summer and would bring the lineup to 11 titles.
