Fortnite Introduces First 5v5 FPS Mode Inspired by Counter-Strike

Epic Games is introducing a new first-person shooter mode in Fortnite called "Ballistic," which resembles games like Counter-Strike and Valorant. This 5v5 tactical game involves planting or defending a "Rift Point Device" and features round-based gameplay with gear purchases between rounds. Ballistic is part of Epic's strategy to diversify Fortnite's offerings, similar to Roblox, allowing players to explore various experiences while maintaining the core battle royale mode. The new mode launches in early access on December 11th, alongside the ability for creators to publish first-person experiences.
