Former lead designer at BioWare, Miles Holmes, has revealed new story details about the planned sequel to the DS RPG Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. The sequel would have picked up where the first game left off, with Eggman having taken over the world and Sonic and his friends needing to navigate a recreated world filled with Eggman's gear. The story would have involved defeating a trickster god and freeing tribes trapped in the Twilight Cage. However, the sequel was never made, possibly due to EA's purchase of BioWare and copyright issues with characters resembling those from the Sonic Comics.
