A Florida man, Lawrence Sullivan, who gained internet fame in 2018 for his mugshot resembling the "Miami Joker," claims that a character in the recently leaked Grand Theft Auto VI trailer was based on him. Sullivan posted a video on TikTok calling out Rockstar Games, the creators of the game, and suggesting they should talk. While the Grand Theft Auto series often draws inspiration from real-world events and people, the game's disclaimer stating it is a work of fiction makes it unlikely that any legal action will be taken.
