"First Look: Mortal Kombat 1 Unveils Jean-Claude Van Damme's Johnny Cage Skin"

The first footage of Mortal Kombat 1's Jean-Claude Van Damme DLC has been revealed, showing Van Damme as a special alternative skin for the character Johnny Cage. The skin, which can be unlocked by purchasing the Premium Edition of the game, depicts Van Damme as he appeared in the early '90s. The footage was shown during an interview with series co-creator Ed Boon, who explained that the Van Damme DLC was a long-awaited collaboration that finally came to fruition. Mortal Kombat 1 is set to release on September 19, 2023, and will include additional DLC characters such as Quan Chi, Omni Man, Ermac, Takeda, Peacemaker, and Homelander.
