"Far Cry's Wild Alaska Adventure: A New Extraction-Based Multiplayer Game"

Ubisoft's upcoming multiplayer Far Cry game, codenamed Project Maverick, is set to release before Far Cry 7 and is rumored to have gameplay mechanics similar to The Division's Survival mode. The game is set in a fictional version of Alaska called Alashnica and will require players to scavenge for resources, craft gear, purchase perks, and avoid permadeath. Players can choose to play solo or with a squad, and the game will feature a shared Hideout where collected items can be stored. Project Maverick aims to offer a different experience from the mainline Far Cry games and is expected to launch in April 2025.
