Capcom has warned players of a specific game-breaking bug in Resident Evil 4 that can prevent players from progressing further into the game. After the cutscene at the beginning of Chapter 12, players should not attack with the knife until the notification for obtaining the key item has been displayed in the upper right of the screen. A fix is on the way, and the issue will be resolved with a future update.
