Blizzard is still trying to figure out the role of Lifeweaver, the plant-based support hero in Overwatch 2, and is planning more changes to better define his strengths and intended role on a team. While Lifeweaver's healing output has been improved, changes to his offensive abilities have had little effect on his kill rate. The team is considering buffing his Thorn Volley and reducing hit volumes, as well as leaning harder into his healing effectiveness or bringing additional benefits to his utility-focused abilities.
