Square Enix has revealed new details about Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince, including the story, characters, areas, and monsters. The game follows Psaro, who seeks revenge against his father and becomes a monster wrangler with his own army of loyal monsters. The adventure takes place in the underworld domain of Nadiria, divided into different realms. Psaro's curse prevents him from harming monsters, so he must train and synthesize them to fight on his behalf. The game features over 500 types of monsters and a revamped synthesis system. Additionally, three sets of DLC will be available upon release, offering new content and outfits for the protagonist.
