Bestselling author Brandon Sanderson has revealed details about his upcoming tabletop role-playing game, Stormlight Role Playing Game, during his annual Dragonsteel Con. The game, developed in partnership with Brotherwise Games, features a unique d20-based system with a "plot die" for dramatic rolls and a skill-based magic system. Players can join knightly factions and playable factions, and the game promises flexibility in character growth. Brotherwise Games also teased a Mistborn deck-building game and a standalone card game called Shards of Creation. Stormlight Role Playing Game will be crowdfunded through Kickstarter in 2024, with a digital release the same year and a hardcover version in 2025.
