Naughty Dog has confirmed that players' earned Platinum Trophy in the original PS4 version of The Last of Us 2 will transfer over to the Remastered version on PS5. The Remastered version will feature new trophies as part of the roguelike mode, but existing trophies earned on PS4 will carry over. The developer also clarified that the new No Return trophies are not required to earn a Platinum Trophy in the Remastered version. Existing owners of the PS4 version can upgrade to the digital version of The Last of Us 2 Remastered for $10 at launch, and the game is set to release on January 19.
