English Version of Previously Unavailable Samurai Shodown RPG Now Accessible

A dedicated group of translators and hackers have finally made the turn-based RPG, Shinsetsu Samurai Spirits: Bushidō Retsuden, based on the Samurai Shodown fighting game series, playable in English. The game, originally released in 1997, allows players to choose from six classic Samurai Shodown characters and features RPG tropes of the era, while also incorporating fighting game inputs for special moves. The translation includes improvements such as stat-boosting items and alternate color palettes for the characters. Project lead Jeff Nussbaum expressed relief and gratitude for the completion of the project after a long journey.
