Elden Ring Expands with Co-op Spin-Off 'Nightreign'

FromSoftware is expanding the Elden Ring universe with a new co-op spin-off called Elden Ring: Nightreign, set for release in 2025. This standalone game will feature a roguelite structure with randomized encounters and a day-night cycle, culminating in a battle against a Nightlord boss. Available on multiple platforms, Nightreign promises a unique playthrough experience each time, with players teaming up to explore, battle, and uncover the story. The game reflects FromSoftware's shift towards exploring different genres, as a direct sequel to Elden Ring is not currently planned.
